Hot sauces are literally just ground up peppers in vinegar.
If a dish could use some pepper or vinegar a splash of hot sauce is nice. Heat is always a nice additional layer to your dish.
If you cant handle spicy food, just eat more spicy food. You will get used to it.
Dont buy meme hotsauces that are just stupid hot. They taste like dirt.

You want a flavorful and more mild hot sauce?
Barre none my favorite is Texas Petes if you can find it.
If not just Crystal or Franks Red Hot are both pretty fucking good too.
