There is some cute indian girl i knew in high school. she works at subway and i have her added on all social medias. today i went to go see her and say hi and let her know im her friend. i took my maga hat cuz this area is not too liberal and i wanted to look like a man wearing jeans shirt and the red cap. I told her hey christy and i started sweating bullets holy shit wtf. I have no idea what i ordered i picked the cheapest thing i saw. she asked me what kind of bread and wtf ive never been to subway how the fuck am i supposed to know what bread, give me whats on the picture. I replied with regular and she just looked at me and turned away and picked a bread. I think i answered with a name of an actual bread they have. then she asked cheese and wtf, I told her i dont know, i honestly dont know what is even offered so i just said swiss and same thing happened except idk if that was even a cheese they had. then she asked if I wanted it toasted and i lost it. I said never mind sorry and walked fast outside the restaurant. there were like 5 people waiting behind me and they were all laughing. I fucking want to kill myself right now I dont even thing she noticed who I was. Im not kidding i want to drive far and just disappear so my parents dont find me dead.

I had planned on enjoying lunch at Olive Gardent this afternoon but had a very unpleasant experience. I often enjoy the $5 lunch special of unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks.

I was seated in a particularly sunny part of the restaurant and I was uncomfortable. I asked my server who looked to be a college age female if I could please be seated somewhere else. She rolled her eyes then obliged.

I placed my order for the unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks and made sure the salad and Italian wedding soup had extra cheese. This meal offers excellent value since the price stays the same regardless of how much you eat.

I could tell that my server was getting an attitude after I ordered my second salad. By the time I competed my meal, she was so rude to me.

I had three bowls of Italian wedding soup, two salads and six breadsticks. Overall, a mild, pleasant lunch. However, I believe I was treated poorly because I am am white and people seem to be disgusted with most white people these days.

What is your opinion of waitstaff that treats white people differently? How can we change?

Fucking hell

A local restaurant near me has an all you can eat soup bar. I usually just have a bowl of soup before my entree and as I was waiting to get my soup, two older men were in front of me at the soup bar. The one guy was telling the other guy about a fantastic sea cruise he just got done with and said cruises are the way to vacation. As this guy started getting his soup, the other guy turns to me and says, "Cruises are really the best way to take a vacation. You should really consider it." Now I don't mind small talk at the soup bar but does this man really have the right to tell me how I should enjoy my vacation? That's kind of a personal decision. I think restaurants should post what conversation topics are allowed at the soup (and salad) bars. It really isn't the place to be telling other people what to do with their free time.

Naturally, Non-Americans will scoff and turn their nose up at populate American brands. However, it's damn near impossible to do when you are thinking about Pizza Hut.

It's clear the brand and product are respectful and offer great value. Why aren't more people giving it the respect it deserves?
