They don't make it any more. They put in sweetners so you get the aftertaste and because you can't make something syrupy with sweetners, they added soluable fibre to thicken it.

So not only does it taste like crap, it's a drink that makes you fart!

That said, I've now discovered Cassis which is nice as fuck to sip. I should try making a Kir Royale...
