I love Kenji. Even though he's SJW-as-fuck and has nothing but dad-humor, he always makes informative recipes that are within reach of the average home cook. I remember back in the old days of AHT when he was just getting weird with his recipes. What's more, he'll help you through a recipe if you tweet @ him — though maybe less so since he's had a kid.
