>Starved for sustenance, decide to take a trip to Burger King
>Ask for a basic Whopper with cheese with NO lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise
>Staff has an aneurysm deciphering my non-Euclidean order, blank fluoride stares being shot around the kitchen
>Receive sandwich after waiting several minutes of the untrained chefs attempting to create something beyond human comprehension
>Open the bag and check my order
>The supposed 'french fries' may as well be the equivalent of a raw, cold potato cut into flabby rectangles
>Unwrap my precious dinner that looks as though it had just gone under a hydraulic press
>The bun is completely soaked through and soggy due to the tomato, which instantly falls apart upon removal
>The burger itself looks as though it just spent the last 72 hours bathing in a vat full of mayonnaise
>Spend the next hour and a half removing every single tiny shred of lettuce from the remains of what could have, at one point in time, be considered a sandwich
>Toss the tomato juice infused bun into the garbage and delicately wipe off the remainder of the mayonnaise-slathered burger with a paper towel, thus removing the small amounts of ketchup and mustard as well
>Despite trial and error, upon biting into my sad half-wich, still manage to get bits of shredded lettuce stuck between my teeth
>Upon further consumption, one factor becomes extremely clear to me
