Century Eggs (pidan) from China look disgusting, but actually aren't bad. They're almost like regular boiled eggs with a slightly creamy yolk, but the egg flavor is much stronger. Chinese also make something called tea eggs where they'll crack the shells of hardboiled eggs, then boil them again in a mixture of tea leaves, soy sauce, black pepper, and other spices.
