Idk man, I just feel like what you think is 'bitter' is something entirely different to me. Like, bitter isn't a flavor, it's a feel. Black coffee tastes like pure, concentrated caffeine to me - like 100 sodas condensed into a single cup minus the sugar plus the dirt and it blows my mind that people can actually enjoy it.
I smoked cigs for two and a half years straight out of highschool, and liked it. I wish I had a 'coffee addiction' like some people brag about having, just so I can overcome it but I can't even get into it because I can't stand coffee without milk, flavoring, sugar, or creamer.

What the fuck is going on in your heads? I'm trying to be open man I am lol but I can't because I have no fucking clue where to start with coffee - I've watched the Golden Rule barista coffee TED talks and that magic turkish coffee thing makes my mouth water - but I just don't know where to fucking start.
