Born and raised in ND and I've never seen or heard of "Space Aliens". Don't have any special chains, local cuisine is better than most flyover sloppa and our state makes Dot's Pretzels which are the only thing I've seen from ND in another state. For my town, most people are boomers collecting passive income from mineral rights on their property given the oil boom and farming with the land that isn't being fracked ... it's not a very interesting state.
