It's actually not a bad combination. I've never had savory oats. I cooked them with butter and salt like grits. I also cooked the eggs in butter. The savory, buttery oats combined with the egg yolks makes a very rich, satisfying meal.

PS I made my own butter. It's delicious. Go get some cream and some yogurt/kefir and fucking make some cultured butter. It's easy as fuck and it's delicious.
