Basically, if you eat meat, it's because of one of two reasons.
Firstly, and this is the primary cause, is that most people are too stupid to take the time to examine their own actions, and to derive from that the cause and effects of their actions on other living, breathing creatures.
The second, and much more rare cause, is someone who has carried out the first introspection but decided that they do not care. These people are mentally deficient and likely have criminal tendencies.

No reasonable person can examine their actions in supporting the mindless murder of millions of animals and believe it to be justifiable or reasonable.
