Remember when you were 23 and you thought Le Creuset or Staub or whatever was awesome and proof you were a Real Foodie?

How long did it take for you to finally admit that enameled iron is for decoration and tabletop decorative serving, not actually cooking with? And how did it happen? Was it that big holiday meal where you didn't have enough enameled iron and you pulled out the old All Clad and marveled at its performance? Or was it after you ruined one too many meals with burn marks and frustration, and thought: there must be a better way?

The only cookware worth using is stainless lined aluminum, stainless lined copper, and tin-wiped copper. Anyone who hasn't figured this out yet is obviously a child.

p.s. if you are a Lodge poorfag or own Emerilware, I invite you not to participate in this thread. Also, has the /fastfood/ containment subreddit been created yet by yasukuni whatsisname? Are poor people actually still an issue? I haven't been here in a while.
