Last night I ran out of time trying to find a good recipe and wound up just pan-frying some stew-meat because it's what my family wanted. It was chewy and bland, as expected, served over cubed potato with gravy. I could have done better with a little more time, had the main ingredient not been dumped in my lap half an hour before dinner.
