Why is leaf taco bell so based? I had the quesadilla and the sauce inside was different, in a good way. their menu is way smaller tho

Leaf here, why is American Taco Bell so DISGUSTING. I get we use slightly different ingredients/oils and whatever, and usually there isn't much of a difference overall but what the fuck happened with Taco Bell.
This isn't an isolated incident I've had it across a few states this year and it was shit every time

On Wednesday the chain announced that U.S. customers will soon be able to order Nacho Fries for just $1. According to Taco Bell, the fries will have “a bold Mexican seasoning” and be served with a “warm Nacho Cheese dipping sauce.”

Customers can also order “Supreme” fries for $2.49, which come with toppings like beef and Pica de Gallo, or “Bell Grande” fries for $3.49.

Is it true that American Taco Bell doesn't have Supreme Fries?

I'll start with saying that I really like fast food. I'm in Canada, so the choices are much more limited than in the U.S. and we don't get the deals like you guys do.

My girlfriend has been away for a week and instead of cooking for myself I've been eating too much fast food. Wendy's, McDonald's, A&W, Burger King (always disappointing).

I rarely go to Taco Bell (maybe once every 1-3 years) but I decided to give it a try. Yesterday I ordered some double taco (?) combo with fries supreme and a beef cheesy burrito on the side. I didn't know what I was ordering and there was a line so I kind of rushed it.

Anyway, the food was cheap. Like really cheap. Unfortunately, it was also shit. The fries supreme, something I remember as a young teen, were borderline shitty-mediocre; Wendy's ghost fries are way better.

The tacos were bland and the texture was not good. I left half of the second one because it was just not doing it for me. I wasn't hungry after that but tried the burrito - I had about 3 bites and threw it out with the rest.

The texture of the meat is just terrible and the flavours are non-existent. I had the Doritos taco last year and it was still somehow bland, just more salty.

Is Taco Bell like this in the U.S. too? I can see why people rave about the hot sauces, I doused my food with packets of the stuff just to get some kind of taste.

I miss these. They were so cheap and they would fill me up all day
