i've been to one of those graduate house parties when i had a girlfriend and was still in highschool. that last breeze of the 90's kids old enough to party like you see in the movies is nothing to by hype about. they had about a gram of mids sitting on the counter and kitchen table piled with lite domestics.

you get into college and kids in frats/sororities (greek life) do the same thing but on the downlow because colleges forbid house parties. so frats throw parties and just invite the sororities. they pull their cash together and hire traveling bartenders, sound systems, and drink and smoke the same shit. it's nothing. it's usually just around certain times like homecoming, selections, and graduation so maybe a few times a year on average. and that's just the popular/reputable ones.

people who use online dating only do it to get laid, and studies even show that apps like Tindr are no different than the ratios shown on sites like chatroulette and omegle. it's all around a 2:10 ratio of men to women. each and every user uses those apps to get laid. that's it. meet their future spouse? sure. but sex is always implied.

those parties you mentioned aside from college ones are just close friend gatherings that grow a little over time throughout the night. and they don't exist unless you're rich or old enough to throw away savings.
