I quit out of my career as an RN and now work as an unskilled cook in a really nice restaurant.
I enjoy the cooking and the environment, and it's much less stressful than the ICU.
I just hope all the 'rona stuff doesn't end up killing the business so I'll be out in the cold. We've been getting a lot of cancellations lately because people are scared of the omicron.

I'll rinse out the cavity when I buy a chicken from a store but I think that a lot of the time when people, especially the blacks, talk about "washing chicken" they are actually talking about rubbing it with salt or vinegar/lemon juice. That's not a necessary step either but I guess that's how their mothers done it.
