Imagine paying $7 for an uncooked 500 calorie meal.

Imagine spending $28 on a single day's worth of calories and feeling like you've saved money because they've thrown in an extra one.

Imagine somehow not realizing that you can just buy a bag of frozen salmon, a bag of frozen wild rice, a bag of frozen steamed broccoli, and a pepper shaker, and make this incredibly bland and uninspired meal by shaking each in turn out of their bag and onto a dish, as one might assemble cereal and milk. It would take less than a minute.

Imagine being old enough to appreciate the blandness and old enough to not be able to assemble it yourself, and then not hiring a neighbor kid to assemble and freeze like 50 of these over the course of maybe 2 hours for about $20 on top of ingredients. You'd save hundreds.

If, when I'm ancient, my children turn out to be shitty and I want to passive aggressively spite them out of their inheritance, buying these is how I will do it.
