Saying sure instead of yes is complete ass. My ex would say sure all the god damned time, and I explained over and over that a solid yes and a sure are not the same thing. As a final resort I started using sure all the time, to be an example of how fucking dumb that is. It didn't work at all and I still haven't fully unlearned it. God damn man. Like someone puts in effort into something, you're not commenting on it, they ask if you're enjoying and "sure" is their reply. It's like talking to a god damned 8 year old who's grumpy over not being allowed to watch late night horror movies.
