I am Japanese. But I don't know the answer.
I cannot understand the question objectively because I only understand the Japanese way of thinking.
Japanese whiskey is still young. So the challenge is very fun.
However, many manufacturers other than Nikka fear individuality.
Whiskey without personality is boring.
So I love Nikka. So I respect British whiskey. I respect American bourbon.
