I used thousand island as the sauce and swiss as the cheese, and topped it with chunks of real corned beef (not lunch meat) and saurkraut. Caraway would have been a good touch, I'll do that next time.

I legitimately feel genetics played the greatest part. My dad's family was all drunks and my dad was a drunk sometimes but he never drank at home, never kept alcohol around the house and mom didn't drink, so it wasn't really learned behavior. I just always felt a strong attraction to drugs and alcohol since I was very young, like ten. It still wasn't a problem for me until I was 21 and alcohol became very easy to come by. My life instantly hit the shitter.

I love to cook so I would never, ever, ever date a picky eater. You chose this life, so you live with it. Someone being a picky eater is actually my #1 pet peeve.
I grew up with picky siblings, my brother would refuse to eat "wet" meat (anything that wasn't chicken breast-tier dried out) and called onions, celery, etc any aromatic chopped vegetable a "pickle" and refused to eat it. He's not that picky now, but my boyfriend's brother and the brother's gf are the same way - we used to share a place with them. They eat nothing but frozen taquitos, chips, soda, cheeseburgers and fries, snack cakes, candy, etc, etc really the worst of the worst. Both weigh over 300lbs, I wonder how they share a bed. Their bedside tables are filled with oatmeal creme pies and Doritos rather than medicines or phone chargers.
The only time I ever saw her cooking, she chopped up raw chicken breast, onion, and raw bacon, dropped them in a glass baking dish with oil and a whole bag of colby jack cheese, and baked it like that. No seasoning. The dish was full of just liquid fat.
Two weeks later they had to pay to have the sink's plumbing replaced because it turns out she had been washing bacon grease down the sink for years and it completely ruined all the pipes. (Also, they ruined all my non-stick baking dishes by cutting food with metal utensils while still in the baking dish.)

tl;dr Picky eaters deserve the rope.
