Once again, you bought the wrong bread. Go to the bakery (most supermarkets have one) and get a freshly baked loaf. Whole OR pre-sliced. I know for sure that one local market's bread uses only flour, water, yeast, and salt.

I don't like tipping, but it's really no biggie. If I get good service, I leave a couple of bucks as a courtesy. Waiters work hard, they deserve it.
