Agreed. Five Guys fries are great and you get a ton but a burger is a burger and for me at least, I like then pretty simple (cheese, onions, bbq sauce) so the cost is excessive.

If I opened a food truck selling only french fries would it succeed?

They would be cooked in peanut oil like Five Guys, always made fresh, and served in cups of different sizes and even a bucket like KFC style. The cups will be custom ordered with the business name and logo and some small holes on the sides for the fries to breathe and not get soggy. Various dipping sauce packets and little bitty sauce cups will be available for free, as well as napkins. Ideally it would be a quick drive thru service on a main road near a college or university. Potatoes are cheap in bulk so I feel like I could offer people more fries for less money than any other fast food restaurant and still come out in the green but I don't know that for sure.

They’re literally and unironically the worst; too thin and too over-cooked, it’s like trying to eat sticks.

Five Guys has the best fires without a doubt and you get a shitload of them.

The best fries are from Five Guys followed by Wendys.
