Please don't make me laugh. The "2 for $2" started at the beginning of the year, BUT only lasted for 3 months before it got replaced with the pricier 2 for $3.

The 2 for $3 eventually got replaced by the 2 for $5.

The only reason McDoalds made such a big deal about the 2 for $2 which only lasted 3 months was to try to trick poor people into thinking that they had finally found a relatively cheap replacement / substitute for the defunct $1 menu.

I guess their marketing worked because people like you still believe that they still offer a 2 for $2 almost a year after they discontinued it.
