why is japanese cuisine -always- inherently superior and also a work of art and love?

its like no other culture has as much care or attention in their food to actually make it look good

why is japanese cuisine so much more refined and beautiful? is it their superior culture?

>american sweets
greasy, overly sweet, sloppily dressed, carelessly thrown into a box

>japanese sweets
totally no grease, mildly sweet (just right), delicately made with care, so pretty its almost a shame to eat it

why is this the case?
is it an american thing to have total disregard for aesthetics?
or do people here just dont appreciate such things?

i really wish i was back in japan
