This is bullshit. When I lived in Iowa there were three dives, a typical bar and grill, a bro-bar, a motorcycle bar, and a few upscale places all within walking distance.

Now I live in a Twin Cities suburb and the drinking here is fucking awful. There's a relatively new brewery within walking distance that opened up near me, but it doesn't have a bar area and it closes at 11 PM, so it's a lousy place for boozing.

What do I do /ck/? Drive to bars? Drink at home?
