I've seen some of the shit all levels of the mexican government get away with and it's hilarious... it would be rage-inducing if I lived in Mexico

quick story
My friend was in Mexico and this happened to him:

>coming out of nightclub, drunk with 3 friends
>call a Taxi
>go a couple of blocks
>cop stops the Taxi and looks in the cab
>asks the guys for "a bite" (bribe)
>They refuse because they did nothing wrong, shit they weren't even driving
>cop just nods his head and walks off
>Taxi driver doesn't go anywhere
>a bunch of thugs open the door and yank them out, beat the shit out of them and steal everything they have including phone wallet etc.
>Taxi driver drives off and they get left on the street, bleeding and hurt
>they go to the authorities
>surprise surprise they don't give a fuck
>they say they'll open an investigation
>kek yeah riight it'll get fixed right up and they'll find those assholes
