So can we all agree that air fryers are memes? I mean they're just tiny plastic toaster ovens. I don't really understand the point of them unless you live in a tiny piece of shit apartment with only a 1x1 square of counter space.
Because I have an air fryer and a toaster oven, and the air fryer is slightly easier because there's no settings on it. You just turn it on and set the temperature. But it's way too small for anything more than a pile of mozzarella sticks or whatever. And even still everything's piled up on top of each other. I don't get it.

My gran used to make roundmeal just like that, anyone have the recipe? I'd love to try it again.

Additionally, is there anything neat I can put into the batter? I know of fruit and chocolate chips. But maybe something other than a filling, like a weird flavouring?
