Why is Italian cuisine regarded as healthy when it's so heavy in carbs and is oily?

>they ordered pizza
>ask aunt what they got
>two pepperoni, one meat lovers, one veggie
>open up the veggie one because I had had pepperoni a few days earlier and I hate meat lovers pizza
>peppers, onions, olives, seems good
>realize that it also has sausage and pizza on it
>ask aunt about this
>she says "it's got vegetables on it doesn't it?!" before storming off
>later my mother asks me to apologize for being a rude guest
What the fuck? That's supreme, not veggie. Why do fat people need to cover every pizza with meat?
