When I go to a restaurant I like it when the waiter or waitress says to me after I place my order

Only the occasional waiter or waitress would say it but it makes me feel good, so I started requesting waiters and waitresses, as soon as they seated me, to please tell me

Waiters and waitresses sometimes think it odd but still oblige me.

One waiter did not accept my request and said nothing after my order, didn't even smile, when I explicitly asked them to.

I didn't leave a tip because I didn't think they earned it.

This person follows me out into the parking lot raging mad, calling me a cheapskate because I didn't tip. I told him off for being rude and not serving me as I requested. Needless to say I never returned to that restaurant again and sent an angry e-mail to the manager complaining. I hope they were fired.
