It's not burnt bread, it's well done cheese. Don't knock it till you try it. It looks like it'd taste like "burnt" but it doesn't, it tastes essentially like a cheeze-it cracker. It's great and much better than just having a breadstick handle.

It's not a stretch. "Detroit style pizza" is not called such because of the square shape, that is incidental, and the only thing the two have in common.

Detroit style pizza is always square, but it's not the shape that makes it noteworthy. The crust, or lack thereof of a crust, is literally the point. The crust is crispy and crunchy and lined with cheese to the end that becomes basically a well done cheese cracker. That is the entire defining factor of "Detroit style", if your pizza doesn't have that kind of crunchy and well done cheese crust, it's not that.

As far as I can tell Grandma and Sicillian is the same thing, Detroit style is similar but differentiated because of the crust like I said, what makes Detroit style a thing is the lack of an actual crust and just crispy well done cheese that goes all the way to the edge, that's really it and the thing that makes it good, it's also really crispy because it's baked in oily ass metal pans

Hey man quality post. For me it's gotta be a square (dat crust) 8 corner pizza with spicy pepperoni, Italian sausage, green olives, and mushrooms + turbo crust and parm on the whole pie.

If I'm feeling extra depressed too, I will order a side of ranch for dipping.
