I work for a large vehicle manufacturer that is not based in the US and I am not from here but for my job I am going to a few plants and offices in this area of the US, I realize it is referred to as flyover states or whatever

Regardless I am here for a while and the food is just terrible, worst food I have ever had in the US and have been in the other regions before but never here. Do they have anything good here? Eating the local food its been mostly gross slop

>best produce in the country
>best water
>invented chicken fried steak
>invented Faygo
>hardly any groids or SJWs

Tell me why the midwest is bad again?

You guys know that the Midwest invented chicken fried steak, right? And American beer in general? And has Wisconsin on their side? Why all the hate?

Has anyone who criticizes the Midwest actually been there?

Good eating spots in the Midwest?

Why do people like to pretend the Midwest is so bad as far as food goes?

Describe midwestern cuisine to me. I'm not baiting, I'm not trying to be mean, but what are some staples of it? Thanks.

1/2 cup of bagged cheddar cheese
1 block of cream cheese
1/2 cup of bacon, cooked
(SECRET INGREDIENT) 1/4 cup Miracle Whip

Mix all of that together, and you have an award winning "world famous" Midwest classic dip.
