Oh, yeah, uhh.. smoke point of 405, I usually put them in the oven at 420-450 for an hour or so.

You can also cook cornbread in a bare metal pan and it will turn out fine while also doing a layer of seasoning. I've used my pans to cook fries and stuff while I'm seasoning them.

My roommate thought the cauldron was funny.
