He is, and it's his own fucking fault.
I used to work in stroke rehab and Jack is definitely the type who could have got a lot of his function in the arm back if he had put in some time and effort.
He just lets it dangle there despite every doctor and nurse he has ever spoken to telling him not to. Even just resting it on the table instead would be beneficial but nobody gets to tell Jack what to do, I guess.
His shoulder will be killing him in another year or two.
