I really doubt that they feel any sort of empathy or sympathy for every single animal, because at the end of the day vegans/vegetarians don't choose to eat what they do because of sympathy, but to feel better than their meat-eating counterparts, give more credit to the human ego rather than instinct for mercy in this case. Corporate farming still effects wildlife, and animal habitats,becoming vegan/vegetarian will not and does not stop the abuse or spare fewer lives for animals. If you eat vegan because you prefer to do so then that's fine, but don't claim you are vegan/vegetarian because you are so much better than the rest of us mouth breathers that actually CARE and have EMPATHY/SYMPATHY for every single living creature.
