You probably don't know how to eat them. You don't peel them like most people try to do. That doesn't work. Break the tail off from the head and squeeze the bottom of the tail with your fingers. The meat of the tail will pop up a little from inside the shell. Grab it with your teeth and pull it out. Then if you want, suck the juice from inside the head. It is full of fat and spices. You can eat a lot of crawfish fast this way. Enjoy.
