Everyone saying this is gay / dumb clearly have never worked in an office environment (or anywhere you fucking neets). The "correct" way for a company to go about punishing for this kinda shit is verbal/written warnings, so bringing a cake in is pretty fair. This kinda shit happens all the time at my place. Getting too drunk and showing up late, "accidental" destruction of property, gay security shit (doors / workstations unlocked). All is forgiven with a packet of biscuits or cake for more serious shit.

Everyone complaining about this or citing "labour laws" needs to take their fucking medication and get the weighted blanked out. Its just harmless workplace banter. If your in full time gainful employment and can't even fucking afford a cake unexpectedly you have much more serious issues.
