Having tried both, they really have a completely different flavor profile. I like the contrast of raw onion's texture and more "intense" flavor, if you could call it that, with whatever they're normally paired with, like burgers or hotdogs for example. Raw onions on a philly is probably the best thing on the whole Goddamn planet.

The best fast food burger I've had so far would be Steak&Shake, I'm fucking pissed we dont have any in CT.

Does anyone here cook professionally? A bit down on my luck, and I was wondering what it's like working in the back of chain or mom n pop restaurants. I've worked in a deli for almost 5 years, is it anything like that?

Best regional chain coming thru that serves good burgers and doesn't try to rip you off with overpriced shit.
