You don't need watermelon wine. I'm not much of a drinker but I wanted to preserve my watermelon harvest without refrigeration in 2020 and this worked out. You can use a nice sweet white wine or red... idk. I definitely wish I could sell bottles of this wine. I have several jugs in my basement and I got to drink them. I'll have some tonight!

Maybe I will someday. I'll make a collection of the pics of custard I have. and write about it. There's not too much to say, I just needed a way to use up a dozen duck eggs as quickly as possible in the summer and I had an ice cream maker. I made a batch today but ended up getting cookies from this nice little old lady who makes the cookies too dry, but they are perfect in the ice cream. Peaches and cream will have to wait for a few days.
