honestly, I agree, and I wish I could get into weed, it would be so much better for me if I could just do that instead of drinking a litler of vodka/whiskey two nights in a week, every single week... Well, I just recovered from covid. I got the vaccine and everything but I guess the Delta variant isn't just a meme after all.

Anyway, none of my symptoms were that bad but I lost my sense of smell and taste completely for a few days. It's are back for the most part, but I feel like covid fucked my taste buds up. I can taste sour, sweet, and salty just fine but savory foods give me a disgusting rotten taste. I ate some beef jerky yesterday and immediately wanted to gag then the same with a homemade sausage mcmuffin today. Just tried some different seasonings to verify what it was and the garlic salt and chicken stock powder same thing. Sugar, salt, and hot sauce tasted fine. It's so bad I might have to stop eating meat and savory foods completely.

Did anybody else who got covid experience this? Did it go away over time? I don't want my taste buds to be fucked up forever.

Went to my cousins house to hang out, get drunk and high one Saturday 2 years ago. Ate 3 quarters of a large Dignorios pizza, some leftover spaghetti, 2 crappy mini "party pizzas" and a ton of random junk like chips and little debbies. We drank a 750ml bottle of fireball and some of our 140 proof homemade moonshine, a bottle of my dads homemade wine, and at least a six pack of beer or two and too many red bulls to count plus shitton of crap weed. Then decided to walk the neighborhood and steal traffic signs at midnight just before blackout drunk. We ended up in a Whataburger after nearly getting kicked out of a Walmart at 2am, ordered a couple cheeseburgers. Worker comes up and hands us a massive fucking bag of food while we were waiting thinking it was our order, and so we ran the fuck out of there lmao. Must have been $100 of food, at least a dozen breakfast tacos, 10 burgers and like 8 large orders of fries and onion rings. I ate at least half the fucking bag over the next 2 hours then passed out. Woke up 6hrs later and ate a burger and 4 more tacos before driving home. Never puked once.

Tips on managing an /alc/ lifestyle while staying /fit/? I want to live a long life and stay healthy, but I hate living without that comfy fuzzy feeling in my brain. Can't I have the fuzzy feeling without dying of liver disease?
