Detroit Polack checking in, though I've heard it was originally a Pennsylvania thing.

Michibro here, and I feel kinda bad that I don’t like Vernors but we do have all kinda tasty food in the state and literally every kinda foreign food is also available.

Pic related is not strictly a Michigan thing but any Polish restaurant hereabouts has it on the menu.

While not technically Polish, city chicken is one of my favorite Polish foods.

Preach it, Michibro. Michigan has every kinda food you could imagine and does so without the pretentious bullshit of the coasties.

>Post some uniquely AMERICAN food products

Most people think city chicken is a native Polish dish but its actually unknown in Poland was developed here in the U.S. by Polish immigrants.

City Chicken technically isn’t Polish but it’s a staple among Polish-Americans.

Strangely, my mom never made city chicken (Polish-American, not actually Polish) but my godmother, who was also a Polish immigrant made it a lot and it was great.
