I'm cautiously optimistic. Remember the chicken sandwich wars? Every fast food chain increased the quality of their fried chicken sandwich to the point where you can get a decent one almost anywhere now. It would be nice to see the same thing happen to burgers.

Honesty, McDonald's Quarter Pounders are already pretty solid, imo. Sure, they don't compare to a non-fast food burger but by fast food standards they're above average. It would be nice to see McDonald's raise their other burgers to the same level of quality.
