This is the first celebrity I ever cried over. I read his books and watched all his shows and he was an inspiration to me. He was proof in my eyes that things like drug addiction and depression are things you can overcome. He inspired me to clean myself up and take joy in cooking and learning about others' culture. I wanted to meet him and tell him how much he fucking meant to me. I loved this man despite never actually meeting him and I am thankful he is still out there. He still has a show on Netflix, his books still exist, everything is still out there but the man himself. My heart aches for his daughter, but at the very least, he isn't in pain anymore, a man can only take so much. Rest in peace you fucking legend.
