My coffee setup. Most mornings I'll drink a couple of shots of espresso, sometimes I'll batch brew about 500mL instead. If I have to wake up at 4 or 5am, I'll grind the night before and use the timer function on my brewer - I can live with a little less excitement in my coffee at that time of day if the tradeoff is waking up to an alarm and the smell of coffee ready to drink. If I go away I'll usually take a v60. Sometimes an Aeropress.

I have a Sunbeam EM6910 that I'm determined to hold onto til it dies, with a VST 18g basket that is just thicker than the standard enough that I'm sure it's damaging the collar. But for all the fact that it's definitely appliance tier, it's very temperature stable, you can adjust the brew head temperature, its shot-programming is volumetric, not time based - though I dose onto a scale anyway - and it's continuing to pour very drinkable espresso. When it does finally die I'll drink filter only until I can put a Lelit Mara X on the bench instead, but until that point I continue to be happy with it.
