As is the case with all European nations, their best & brightest emigrated to America decades ago, and in this land of plentiful freedom the true Italians finally perfected their native cuisine. But the pitiful residue, those wops left behind in the empoverished and war-scarred old country, now jealous;y define their entire self-identity in contrast to the American diaspora. Today's aboriginal "Italians" (whose blood is at least half African) thrive on denigrating the superior Italo-American cuisine. Foreign visitors to Mussolini's catbox will see nothing but feeble pasta mixed with grass clippings, and "authentic Nealopolitan" pizza--cardboard disks smeared with menstrual drippings. But behind closed doors, the greasy natives reveal their true dago desire, continuously gorging themselves upon Domino's Stuffed-Crust pizza. (Why do you think that Italy is constantly in such debt? Four-thousand mile delivery ain't cheap.) They put on a nice enough show for the tourists, but every gypsy goomba has a pepperoni Hot Pocket up his sleeve. Every Italian home includes a shrine to Chef Boyardee, and most spaghetti-suckers dream of pilgrimmage to an authententic Olive Garden, that mecca of Roman repast.
