I don't wanna set off a minefield by asking this, but this seems to be the appropriate thread.

Does a French Press really make a big difference in the flavor of the coffee?
Or is it that fresh grinding of beans makes it far better than pre-ground?

I've always used a drip machine and enjoyed it just fine, but I've definitely had better coffee other than at home.
