Rainbow trout are good eatin'.
Clean them, put butter, salt, and pepper in the belly with some onion, wrap in foil, then bury them in campfire coals.
Or fillet them, soak in milk overnight, coat with an egg wash, make crumbs from cork flakes and coat them with that, salt and pepper, then cook on the grill. Serve piping hot.

What was the 'game-changer' in your cookery?

For me, it was mushroom powder. I add to shpaget with olive oil, garlic and freshly cracked pepper for a special taste treat.

Guys, complete noob here so sorry advance if my question is dumb.

Cast Iron, Stainless Steel, Enameled. What am I supposed to use each one for when cooking?
For which am I supposed to get a pan and for which a pot?
My mum never cooked when I was growing up so I have no idea how a kitchen is even supposed to look like. For now I only have a stainless steel pan which I use for eggs + meat and a steel pot for soups.
