The cast iron skillet is easy, that's just a simple wipe down and from experience I just throw the towel or whatever I use into a kitchen sink. That's because once I had one start smoking and almost start a fire in a garbage can.
Once the bacon is done, pour the grease into a grease keeper sort of thing and put it into a fridge for when you need the bacon grease.
The strainer on the things keeps bits out that don't mix well with the grease or give it off flavors, those clean up real easy as long you let any leftover grease settle on the strainer parts.
Hot water does wonders.
Lo and behold, bacon grease for multi use!
Oh, make sure to not buy a big one like I did, I way overpredicted how much I'd go through in a year and well the small one is best.

I collect it and use it later using a bacon fat collector device. There's a strainer on top and when the bacon is done you pour it in and put the thing in the refriderator. That remindes me to do a bunch now.

No, but I use bacon grease a lot, I even have one of these bacon grease collector things. It's damn well useful.
The screen that catches burnt bits is easily removable and washed out under some tap water.

bacon grease works best.
I have this bacon grease keeper so that when I make bacon I can save the grease for later use like with eggs. It has a removable screen to filter out bits and just keep the grease.

One doesn't have to use all that bacon fat at once, just store it in a bacon grease keeper storage thing in some fridge.

Dont be a savage, get a bacon grease keeper, the things cost all of ten bucks and are very efficient. They have a little screen on the top to keep the bits out.

These bacon greese strainer things are really good. They're also very inexpensive.

I have one of these bacon grease keepers, it was only like $12 and fits nicely into my refrigerator so I can use the grease for other stuff like making sandwiches or cooking eggs or whatever, it's damn useful.
