At my worst I used to drink like 4-5 energy drinks a day, and drank coffee AND took caffeine pills.

Obviously and luckily I never dropped dead from a heart attack or had a stroke but by far the worst was how it stained and rotted my teeth. though I guess regular soda would do the same.

I also had kidney stones once as well as caffeine poisoning a couple of times. These days I quit caffeine except for like one green tea or maté a day and RARELY a coffee in the morning. I bought some Monsters for the first time in like 10 months the other day cause they were on sale and I was buying some other shit from the corner store and I drank them and I had that same feeling when I was also a on/off smoker where I'm simultaneously disgusted and satisfied as I remember both why I quit those in the first place and also why i got addicted in the first place.

I have a thing of 30% oil and I was aiming to just get a little taste of it like 10% but I ended up spilling it on my desk and licking it all up and then going whoops

I've been drinking energy drinks since 2000 and original monster is one of the worst ones out there, there is just that funky scent and after-taste like rotten ginger and pine trees.
They got some okay side flavors like the purple one and the gronk one, but nothing beats the classic sugar free white one aka boomer juice

My mom got me hooked on them back in like 1998 or some shit before energy drinks were even really a thing certainly not like they are now.

I miss all the early 2000s drinks that aren't around anymore. Stuff like the SoBe No Fear or whatever it was called, the original Thai red bull that wasn't carbonated and was just a thick syrup in a glass bottle, Bawls Guarana was big for a while, Steven Seagal had his own line of drinks as well.

These days? A boomer drink boomer juice. The sugar Monster has a weird like ginger or pine tree aftertaste to it that the white one doesn't, and of course it doesn't have the sugar. Red Bull is good enough but too expensive and the cans are too small. Rock star is absolute trash.
