While this thread makes valid points lets not forget about all of the luxury crops we produce on the west coast of the USA
The San Joaquin Valley produces so much inexpensive luxury items. California alone has the climates to grow nearly anything on earth
This gives us the ability to get a wide variety of cash crops very cheap.
I can literally buy a back of avocados a big as a sack of potatoes for $10 bucks
