Just got discharged, I left shortly after I read your post. So a little backstory, I'd been googling symptoms I had and everything pointed to ascities which is failure of the liver filling up your abdominal cavity. It feels more liquidy than usual in my abs so I figured that's what it was. I went and was 100% ready to quit drinking and then they put me in a quiet room off to the side cause I was a wreck. Blood test, urine test (they don't need these if you give blood, urine is literally to see if you're smoking crack or not) and all that business.

The prognosis : absolutely nothing is wrong with my liver, pancreas or kidneys. I am 'liquidy' in the abs because they're distended by gas and she told me to take some beano and lay off the liquor.

I thought she was going to tell me I had a month to live.. What does it mean.. All I wanted was to be off Mr. Bones Wild Ride, I wanted someone to tell me I was dying so this fucking nightmare could end.

God damnit. I just want out of this fucking bottle so god damn bad..
