Bulleit is a meme, both the bourbon and rye... Not being a MGP hater, but Bulleit is seriously tastes pretty meh to me.

Rittenhouse = old faithful, great Manhattans

Michters = never had any but heard outstanding reviews from pretty much everyone. Might be worth a try.

Crown Northern Harvest = pretty hot and flavorful. It doesn't live up to Jim Murray's glowing *cough*paid*cough* review about it, but it's still pretty good for the price.

Canadian Crown 100% Rye = I got a 750ml bottle for $12 on sale so didn't expect much. But it's surprisingly drinkable without any burn -- which could be a good or bad thing, depending on what you like in your rye.

Lot 40 = my current favorite. Mildly spicy and full flavored. Only been sipping neat so far. Caramel notes without the sweetness. Dry finish.

Whistlepig = The next step up. Probably will be the next rye I get once I finish off a few bottles.

Booker's Rye = Booker Noe's final project... I've never even come across one or, if I did, probably wouldn't pay the high prices associated with it, but here's to dreamin'.
